Labneh & Smoked Salmon Bagel

Creamy Bekaa Dairy Labneh, silky smoked salmon, and fresh herbs come together on a toasted bagel for a savoury breakfast or brunch that feels café-worthy—but takes minutes at home. A healthy twist on a classic!

Ingredients

  • 2 bagels, halved and toasted

  • ½ cup Bekaa Dairy Labneh

  • 100g smoked salmon slices

  • ¼ red onion, thinly sliced

  • 1 tbsp capers, drained

  • A few sprigs fresh dill

  • Cracked black pepper, to taste

  • Optional: lemon wedges, za’atar, or a drizzle of olive oil

Method

  1. Toast the Bagels:
    Toast bagel halves to your liking.

  2. Spread with Labneh:
    Generously spread Bekaa Dairy Labneh onto each toasted half.

  3. Top with Salmon:
    Layer smoked salmon slices on top of the labneh.

  4. Add Garnishes:
    Finish with red onion, capers, dill, and a crack of black pepper. Optional: sprinkle with za’atar or drizzle with olive oil for extra flavour.

  5. Serve:
    Serve immediately, with lemon wedges on the side if desired.

Tip:

For extra crunch, add thin slices of cucumber or radish. Want a spicy kick? Try a touch of harissa or chilli oil over the labneh.
